Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nebraska or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Ortho and Neuro OR experience required (Level 1 or Level 2)
• Current Nursing Certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to participate in weekend and weekday on-call rotation (every 4-5th weekend and 1 weeknight per week)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties for orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict safety and infection control protocols in the OR
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment
