Job Description
Join Cargill as an HVAC Technician and contribute to a sustainable future in the protein and salt business. You will play a vital role in ensuring the proper operation of refrigeration and HVAC systems while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems are operating properly through monitoring, PMs, and repairs (70%)
Participate in activities (training, system reviews, documentation) with the ammonia PSM program (20%)
Miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned (10%)
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Technical degree in HVAC or ammonia refrigeration or equivalent work experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration
Must be able to wear a full face respirator
Preferred Qualifications
RETA/IIAR training and certification
Previous experience with regulated PSM programs
Previous ammonia refrigeration experience
Electrical or mechanical experience
