Job Description

As the Manager of Operations for the Behavioral Health Utilization Management Specialty team, you will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care and compliance while fostering team success and collaboration. Your role will involve overseeing team performance, driving process improvements, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff in their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and performance oversight
  • Manage a singular team or functional area
  • Establish operational objectives and participate in group objectives
  • Develop and support non-clinical processes for the clinical BH UM team
  • Oversee caseload management and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Monitor staff productivity and develop production standards
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to non-clinical staff
  • Identify process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Understanding of basic management approaches
  • Functional expertise within the area of responsibility
  • Advanced knowledge of job area
  • 3 years of experience in a customer experience environment
  • 3 years of experience in a Call Center environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
