Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
Select and administer anesthetics and manage equipment
Administer anesthesia and sedation, manage airways
Monitor patient condition and maintain time-based records
Manage patient emergence and recovery post-anesthesia
Implement pain management strategies
Stabilize patients in emergencies
Ensure patient safety and comply with standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
Current Appropriate State Licensure
BLS and ACLS certification
Certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
8–12 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
Competent in performing as a CRNA in a clinical setting
