As a Local Business Development Executive at XPO, you'll identify and engage new customers, driving business growth with a focus on effective communication and relationship-building. Key Responsibilities
Identify new customers in local and regional markets
Grow account base and ensure warm handoffs to field sellers
Support customers' needs in the regional territory
Work with sales support staff for effective administrative support
Develop relationships within customer organizations
Align with local service center for customer acquisition strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
Competitive nature with a hunter mentality
Strong desire to succeed
Solid time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Available and flexible to work evenings and some weekends
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of professional sales experience
2 years of experience in transportation or LTL
Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
Experience with enterprise CRM tools
