Job Description
Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll evaluate and treat patients to enhance their communication abilities. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on patients' lives through personalized therapy and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on symptoms and medical status
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises affiliated students
Participates in continuing education and departmental/community in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license or eligibility
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association or eligibility
Valid driver's license for occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
