Key Responsibilities
Prepares, seasons and cooks various foods for consumption.
Reviews menus and production schedules to determine quantities needed.
Plans cooking schedule in conjunction with supervisor.
Ensures all foods meet standards for quality of taste and temperature.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas.
Participates in job-related training and in-service education.
Required Qualifications
Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma
1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Culinary training acquired through culinary school or years of experience in institutional setting
