Key Responsibilities
Provide diagnostic and treatment services for communication disorders
Participate in individual assessment and treatment planning
Document treatment notes and progress reports
Monitor progress and maintain treatment records
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for goal development and discharge planning
Educate and train staff and families on speech and language activities
Attend and present at team meetings and clinical reviews
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active licensure in Michigan
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Ability to work with consumers with neurological disabilities/TBI
Ability to design, implement, update, and document treatment programs
