Hourly Rate : $70/hr - $80/hr
Shift options: Day and Night shifts both available.
Weekly hours : 36 and 40 hour shifts available
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. As a vital member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures while collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Position Summary: This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities - Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist in the operating room by providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
- Perform suturing and assist with various surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques throughout.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop discharge planning for patients post-surgery.
- Utilize Epic software for documentation and patient management effectively.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy to assist in surgical procedures accurately.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices in the operating room environment.
Required Experience:
2 (full) years of nursing experience, and 1 year pediatric OR
AZ RN License
