Requirements

Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years inpatient experience as a PICU RN within the last year.
Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
Strong experience with managing pediatric patients on ventilators, proning, chest tube management, hypothermic protocols, assisting during intubation, and set up and monitoring of hemodynamic equipment.
Experience assisting with bedside procedures such as bronchoscopy and invasive line placement.
Must have experience with sedation, paralytics, vasoactive, and inotropic medications.
