Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning for snow production and quality assurance
  • Troubleshooting equipment and diagnostics
  • Planning and designing snowmaking infrastructure
  • Oversee training and development of staff
  • Supervisory responsibilities including work planning and employee evaluation
  • Management of operational costs and performance
  • Assist in future snowmaking expansion planning
  • Manage repair and maintenance of snowmaking systems

Required Qualifications

  • Previous snowmaking experience
  • High school education or equivalency degree
  • Technical training in mechanics, engineering or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant construction and/or engineering experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Broad mechanical and heavy construction knowledge
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work long hours, outdoors, and overnights
  • Physical ability to move/operate equipment and lift 50-100lbs
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree
  • Experience with ATV/snowmobiles
  • CPR/First Aid certification
