HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Wound Care RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a well-respected acute care hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts . This is a weekday-only position with no weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate patient care from referral through discharge, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Facilitate consults, gather clinical data, and ensure all patient scheduling needs are met
Evaluate and assess patients, assist with ordering labs/diagnostics, and document care
Educate patients and families on wound care plans and medical procedures
Lead wound and skin-related safety efforts and pressure injury prevention programs
Act as liaison to the Quality & Safety Department on wound-related reportable events
Participate in hospital rounds, case conferences, and education initiatives for nursing staff
Active RN License in Massachusetts – Required
1–3 years of wound care experience – Preferred
Certification in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) – Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Preferred
EPIC proficiency – Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems – Required
COVID-19 vaccine + booster – Required
Current flu vaccine – Required
