Key Responsibilities
Provide front and back-office support in a float Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduler role
Answer phone calls from multiple queues
Review and process prior authorization requests
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Intake and update demographic information for patients
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
Handle customer service inquiries
Prepare exam rooms and document patient encounters
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
3 years of customer service experience
1 year of medical front office or surgery scheduling experience
1 year of basic computer software experience
1 year experience as an MA-R or an MA-C
Preferred Qualifications
Surgery scheduling experience
EPIC experience
Prior authorization experience
