The Maintenance Technician II plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of food production equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support company and industry standard safety policies and procedures
Perform inspections and complete preventive/predictive maintenance tasks
Diagnose and repair production and process utility equipment deficiencies
Learn and use continuous improvement tools and methods
Work and train with OEM technicians during production equipment rebuilds
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
Manage assigned planned work, unplanned failures, and work orders
Log work orders in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Required Qualifications
Three plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
