Job Summary

Osteopathic Family Medicine Faculty Beautiful Coastal NC

The Novant Health Residency in Family Medicine located in Wilmington, North Carolina is seeking an Osteopathic Family Physician to join our faculty.

We are an ACGME accredited 8-8-8 community program with Osteopathic Recognition, and a rural track, affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Our program provides care for a wide variety of historically vulnerable, marginalized and underserved populations, including those with opioid use disorder, the unhoused, those with chronic Hep C, as well as a growing LGBTQ+ population.

Candidate Qualifications:

• DO degree

• Board certification in Family Medicine

• Previous residency teaching and/or private practice experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Teaching residents and students

• Patient care including hospital care and low risk obstetrics, administration, and research
