Job Description
Join the Surgical Specialty Center of Mid-Atlantic as a Full-Time PACU RN, where you will deliver exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort. The role involves assisting physicians and providing comprehensive evaluations for optimal patient discharge.
Key Responsibilities
Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients
Evaluate patient's condition and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy
Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks
Provide comprehensive patient care for those emerging from anesthesia
Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS and ACLS Required
PALS if required by the center
2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Able to prioritize and organize workload
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
