RN- Operating Room Nurse (Perioperative RN)

Location: Austell, Georgia
Shift: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with call)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Operating Room Nurse (Perioperative RN) to join our surgical services team. In this role, you will be a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes and a safe surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to maintain a sterile environment
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on perioperative care
• Uphold nursing standards, hospital policies, and the ANA Code of Ethics

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single-State GA or Compact)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative/OR nursing experience
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting
