Job Description

MassMutual seeks a motivated Program Manager to lead project management efforts for technical solutions targeting Worksite stakeholders. In this role, you will drive project delivery, manage resources, and collaborate with business partners to ensure successful outcomes that align with company strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple tracks of work related to technical solutions for Worksite stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor project tasks and controls during project planning and delivery activities
  • Develop project plans and actively manage resource plans
  • Secure and maintain project resources
  • Provide input into business strategies and direction
  • Champion opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships as required
  • Coach and mentor team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • 8+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years advanced experience with agile project methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of program/project management experience
  • 5+ years of Agile delivery experience
  • PMP Certification, Agile/Scrum/SAFe certifications
  • Proven ability to apply advanced project and program management skills, tools and techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle
  • Effectively utilize current project planning, reporting and support tools
  • Ability to drive and/or develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses
  • Experience working within the insurance industry as a technology program manager
  • Experience managing vendor delivery and vendor relationships
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Product Delivery for multiple lines of business
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity
  • An action-oriented, driven, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and reporting on programs and projects
