ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Experience caring for CCU patients (must be reflected on resume)
• Previous experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from facility
• Commitment to full 13-week travel nursing assignment

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during challenging times
