Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical aspects of the quality control program in Radiation Oncology
  • Ensure accurate delivery of dose prescriptions to patients
  • Assist Chief Physicist with NJ State and NRC regulations
  • Perform treatment planning and calculations with Dosimetrists
  • Conduct calibrations of Linear Accelerators
  • Plan and deliver HDR brachytherapy cases
  • Verify treatment parameters in patient charts

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Radiation Science, Health Physics, Physics or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in a clinical Radiation Therapy Department
  • Eligible for ABR certification in related Medical physics specialty
