Job Responsibilities
Full-time position entails approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts/month, totaling 2190 hours annually.
Flexible work options available minimum of 5.5 24-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible).
Work collaboratively with 2 OB Hospitalists on duty 24/7.
Conduct delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage.
Engage in rounds and provide inpatient consults for high-risk patients with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).
Participate in approximately 60 deliveries per month with access to a 30-bed community Level-III NICU.
Be part of a supportive team with maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practices.
Contribute to teaching opportunities for fellows, residents, and medical students.
This is a permanent, full-time position that may require local residency; relocation assistance may be available.
Qualifications
Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN REQUIRED
California medical license (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
Experience in OB Hospitalist work PREFERRED
Interest in full-time employment REQUIRED
Willingness to relocate or live in the area REQUIRED
DEA registration required before start REQUIRED
