Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and repair diesel equipment
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
Receive road calls and coordinate with vendors
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Document equipment repairs and parts used
Serve as backup to other maintenance personnel
Required Qualifications
3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience administering appropriate PM program
Valid driver's license
Own personal hand tools
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Class-A CDL license
DOT certification
Welding ability
Basic mathematical skills
