Key Responsibilities
Implements treatment programs for improvement of physical, psycho-social, or developmental dysfunction
Modifies treatment procedures as needed based on patient status
Arranges for adaptive equipment to increase patient independence
Educates patients and families on home programs and preventive measures
Prepares required documentation in a timely manner
Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Maintains departmental policies and procedures
Participates in educational programs and meetings
Engages in special project teams and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist Assistant License
Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
Less than one year experience in Occupational Therapy
Preferred Qualifications
Two to three years college level courses
