Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. The ideal candidate will be a confident, highly skilled nurse with strong high-risk OB experience, capable of working in a fast-paced acute care environment. This unit manages a variety of L&D patients, including high-risk obstetrics, cesarean sections, and triage/inpatient cases.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Assist with deliveries and scrub for C-sections
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using appropriate equipment and charting systems
• Administer medications and IV infusions, including magnesium
• Perform full patient assessments and documentation
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Certifications Required:

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• RN-C preferred

Education:

• BSN required
• Active New York RN license
