Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fishersville, Virginia. Join a supportive clinical team and make a positive impact on patients' lives with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings
Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve patient mobility
Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and effectively
Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development
Collaborate in discharge planning for continued patient progress
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy
Physical Therapy experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
