Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and labor standards
  • Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
  • Disposition non-conforming material with root cause analysis
  • Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
  • Tool/fixture development focusing on ergonomics
  • Lead corrective action investigations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
  • Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret)
  • Experience with automated tooling and programming
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
