Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures.
Communicate with patients and loved ones.
Act as Paramedic team leader for scene and unit management.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
California Driver's License
Ambulance Driver's License from DMV
Medical Examiner's Card from DMV
State of California Paramedic License
CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider)
ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
ICS courses (IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B)
Preferred Qualifications
