We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our dynamic engineering team. Our ideal candidate is a professional with over five years of experience in the field, who can effectively handle a range of surveying tasks, including boundary determination, topographical mapping, and ALTA surveys. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed field surveys, analyzing data, and preparing reports and maps. This role requires a high level of precision and a deep understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts. Conducting field surveys to establish legal boundaries, topography, and ALTA surveys.
Supervising survey party chiefs and ensuring that field data is accurately collected and processed.
Collaborating with engineers and architects on projects to determine precise locations and measurements.
Preparing detailed site plans, survey reports, and maps using computer software.
Evaluating survey objectives and specifications to prepare survey proposals or to direct others in survey proposal preparation.
Analyzing survey data, source maps, photographs, and other records to determine the precise location and measurements of important features.
Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries.
Maintaining records, preparing legal documents, and sharing survey findings with clients and stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
Proficiency with surveying technology and software, such as AutoCAD, GPS, GIS, and other related systems.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles and practices, boundary laws, and legal documents related to land surveying.
Ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions and walk or stand for long periods.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different sites as needed.
