The Senior Director of Behavior will oversee the behavioral care for animals at the ARC and CARE, ensuring their medical and behavioral welfare through a holistic approach. This role involves leading a dedicated team, managing research projects, and collaborating with various departments to promote animal health and adoption success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for animals
Ensure high quality, low stress patient care

Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Master’s or PhD degree in animal Behavior or related discipline from an accredited program or DVM degree from AVMA accredited veterinary school
Experience developing/overseeing research projects
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Comfortable with humane euthanasia decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in writing scientific publications
