Job Description
Join Clean Harbors as a Class B CDL Driver in Stoughton, MA, where you'll operate various trucks for hazardous waste clean-up. This role combines driving with key responsibilities that emphasize health and safety, customer satisfaction, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority
Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers
Operate a variety of Class B trucks
Loading and unloading of trucks
Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service
Proper placarding of vehicles per Company and DOT requirements
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
Follow all compliance regulations and rules
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT requirements
Observe all company environmental health and safety guidelines
Perform site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling when required
Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis
Required Qualifications
Valid Class B CDL
Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
Ability to use various mobile devices
Perform physical functions per job requirements
Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical
Meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial driver experience
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
Previous Hazmat experience
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Previous manual labor experience
