An experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician providing comprehensive cancer care within a progressive community medical practice. Responsibilities include patient follow-ups, hospital and chemotherapy rounds, chemotherapy treatment planning, participation in cancer-related clinical research, committees, and process improvement initiatives. The role requires strong empathy, collaboration with healthcare providers, and a commitment to advancing oncology care in a family-oriented community near Columbus, Ohio.
Medical Center seeks an experienced Medical Oncology / Hematology Physician to join an established, progressive, practice providing comprehensive oncology care in the community. The provider is expected to work in conjunction with the two physicians and nurse practitioner. The provider will also perform follow-up patient visits, round in the hospital, round in the chemotherapy department, assess chemotherapy patients if needed, and order subsequent chemotherapy plans. They will also participate in Cancer Committee, participate in clinical research and trials, along with being actively involved in process improvement. This provider should exhibit empathy, compassion and a caring manner.
