Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Utilize evidence-based screening tools to formulate comprehensive treatment plans
Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
Required Qualifications
Clear, active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Michigan
Board certified as a PMHNP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or eligible for board certification
Active DEA registration
Eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing in an outpatient setting
Experience providing patient education on medication treatment adherence
Experience counseling patients using advanced psychotherapeutic techniques
Experience treating substance addiction and co-occurring disorders
Experience working with various age groups, including older adults
Experience with couples or family counseling
Experience with medical documentation and communication tools
