Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker and make a meaningful impact by providing clinical interventions and support to Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing adults with mental health challenges. Collaborate with a dedicated team to promote recovery and independent living through culturally competent services.
Key Responsibilities
Carry a caseload of residents and provide services
Complete client assessments including intake and risk assessments
Evaluate and support clients in meeting individual goals
Develop safety plans and provide individual and family counseling
Advocate on behalf of residents and coordinate services
Participate in team processes and case conferences
Complete timely documentation of resident interactions
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work
LMSW or LCSW certification preferred
Fluent in American Sign Language
Minimum of 1-year experience in Human Services preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
