Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN House Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized patient care plans
• Identify patient/family teaching needs and goals
• Participate in weekly team conferences to provide patient status updates
• Accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses
• Deliver direct patient care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians, charge nurse, and team
• Consult senior nursing staff for complex clinical decisions
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel
• Ensure personal and environmental safety per hospital policies
• Maintain effective communication with manager and senior staff
• Monitor supplies and equipment, manage costs while promoting quality outcomes
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation when requested
• Actively pursue professional development and continuing education
• Prioritize activities and staff planning to meet patient care needs
Certifications Required: • BLS • ACLS Experience Required: • Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience • PCU experience • Charge Nurse experience
