Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and obtaining vital signs
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Encourage residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
CMA II license required at time of hire
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18 preferred
Valid driver's license and auto insurance may be needed
CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing (North Dakota and Iowa)
Successful completion of state-approved CMA/TMA course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience
12 hours of continuing education annually based on state requirements
