Job Description

Join our Anchorage clinic as an Audiologist to provide critical care to military service members. You'll assess hearing impairments and offer professional opinions on their relation to military service while working with a supportive team in a fulfilling environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret hearing tests
  • Evaluate test results and medical records to determine causes of hearing loss
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
  • Lead training for paraprofessional staff

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed with unrestricted license
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire
  • Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
  • Medical clearance requirements including TB test and vaccinations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
  • Experience with hearing conservation programs
  • Training/certifications related to audiology
