Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history Explain procedures to patients Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and document exceptions Recognize and respond to medical emergencies Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions Participate in process improvement activities Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Take call/standby as required Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
