Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a complex ticketing system
  • Deliver enterprise-grade software and features
  • Champion code ownership and high-quality coding practices
  • Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle
  • Lead and mentor colleagues in a collaborative environment
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development
  • At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and/or React
  • Strong understanding of distributed computing principles
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
  • Experience with all phases of software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with customer- and employee-service systems
  • Experience scaling and modernizing legacy systems
  • Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka
  • Familiarity with observability and logging tools like DataDog
