Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for ARC and CARE animals
Lead and facilitate research projects related to animal behavior
Ensure high-quality individualized care for animals
Manage a team of behavior experts and foster a culture of learning
Collaborate with various teams to ensure best practices in animal care
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Comfortable with humane euthanasia decisions
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Low Stress Handling – Silver certified or able to obtain certification
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
