Key Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements in various units
Ensure accurate entry of demographic information into the ADT system
Identify patients correctly to avoid duplicate medical record numbers
Review assigned accounts for accuracy and required documentation
Collect and enter required data into the ADT system
Verify patient information at registration and correct errors
Obtain necessary signatures and ensure documents are scanned
Verify insurance benefits and document in the ADT system
Assist patients with payment plans and clarify financial responsibilities
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of experience with requesting and processing financial payments
Beginner level of proficiency working with computers/data entry
Ability to work from 6:00pm – 4:30am, Thursday - Sunday
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, revenue cycle vendor, and/or other revenue cycle related roles
General understanding of insurance policies and procedures
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Able to perform basic mathematics for payment calculation
