Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Principal GPS Systems Engineer, where you'll develop cutting-edge GPS electronics solutions for missile systems. Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and utilize your expertise in RF electrical subsystems to tackle meaningful challenges that enhance national security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop GPS electronics solutions for missile products
  • Architect new electronic systems and develop subsystem requirements
  • Perform analysis and modeling for GPS sub-assemblies
  • Interface with suppliers of navigation or guidance electronics components
  • Collaborate with missile level system engineers and higher level leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with electrical hardware development
  • Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
  • Knowledge of navigation subsystems/components for guidance electronics
  • Recent technical experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU
  • Familiarity with Matlab scripting
  • Experience with hardware integration and environmental testing
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
