Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Principal GPS Systems Engineer, where you'll develop cutting-edge GPS electronics solutions for missile systems. Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and utilize your expertise in RF electrical subsystems to tackle meaningful challenges that enhance national security.
Key Responsibilities
Develop GPS electronics solutions for missile products
Architect new electronic systems and develop subsystem requirements
Perform analysis and modeling for GPS sub-assemblies
Interface with suppliers of navigation or guidance electronics components
Collaborate with missile level system engineers and higher level leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with electrical hardware development
Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
Knowledge of navigation subsystems/components for guidance electronics
Recent technical experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU
Familiarity with Matlab scripting
Experience with hardware integration and environmental testing
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
