RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (CV IMU) on 3rd floor of Heart Tower
• 24-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1 to 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Secretary, 1 Charge Nurse/CNC, 6 RN Floor staff, 2-3 nurse techs, and sitters when needed
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse/CNC, 6 RN/LVN floor staff, 2-3 nurse techs, and sitters when needed
• Must have IMCU experience including chest tubes, BiPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Required to demonstrate critical thinking and cardiac monitoring with interventions
• Experience with drips required: Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex, and Insulin
• Cardiovascular experience preferred
• Handle typical procedures including post-TAVR, Watchman, heart catheterization with complications, PCI, CABG, pacemakers, ablations, and cardioversion
• Work with equipment including GE bedside monitors, Welch Dinamaps, Alaris pumps, and Kangaroo pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Float to Med/Surg and IMCU units as needed
• Rotate weekends as required
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs for nurses
