Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency while leading and supporting your team to provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage daily operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget
Prepares work schedules and oversees proper selection of company assets
Communicates with Sales Management to resolve delivery issues
Maintains open communication with associates
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience
Successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions
Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major
