Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where you will lead the development and improvement of manufacturing processes in a collaborative environment. You will engage with multi-disciplined teams to create solutions that enhance efficiency and quality while ensuring adherence to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Conduct non-conforming material analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide technical support to manufacturers and suppliers
Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
U.S. citizenship for security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with technical documentation interpretation
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Team or project leadership experience
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of CORE principles
Proficient in CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
