Job Description

Join USAA as an Organization and Workforce Design Consultant, where you'll drive strategic initiatives to optimize organizational structures and enhance workforce capabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of work through innovative design and collaboration with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to organizational structures, roles, and skills
  • Implement and support the use of organizational design tools and frameworks
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and leaders on organizational design tasks and requests
  • Assess current-state organizational structures, governance, and capabilities
  • Support and provide feedback on the design of inclusive, data-driven job designs
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify critical capabilities
  • Assist in facilitating planning workshops and co-creating organizational strategies
  • Support the alignment of organizational planning with HR, Finance, and other functions
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related experience
  • 4 years in organizational design, workforce strategy, or related fields
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Solid understanding of organizational design principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI tools for job analysis, skill mapping, and workforce planning
  • Experience in insurance and/or banking sectors
  • Experience with design thinking and agile methodologies
  • Expertise leveraging AI to drive scale and sustainability
  • Strategic systems thinker with a bias for action
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity
  • Passionate about building inclusive, future-ready organizations
  • Substantive change planning and execution experience
