Key Responsibilities
Work on capital and strategic projects for production facilities
Responsible for mechanical aspects including facilities preparation, equipment design and installation
Improve equipment reliability and safety, lower operational and maintenance costs, and improve ergonomics
Engineer solutions complying with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance departments
Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Additional responsibilities assigned by managers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3+ years professional experience for Level II Engineer
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience for Level III Engineer
Good judgment
Self-motivated
Safety conscious
Strong desire to take ownership and drive results
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Ability to perform hands-on work
Ability to handle small to medium-sized projects with supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Solid Edge CAD modelling software
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA standards
