Job Description
Join Cedar Point as an Area Manager - Waterparks, where you will lead operations across multiple waterpark facilities, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. This role is ideal for a passionate leader ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with planning, coordinating and overseeing pre-season activities
Operates assorted pumps, motors, filters, and chemical distribution systems
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency applicable rules and laws
Oversees several departments with direct/indirect reports
Manages associate performance utilizing coaching, counseling and discipline
Sets priorities and monitors assignments
Evaluates staff and resolves performance problems
Encourages a safe and pleasant working environment
Maintains appropriate staffing levels by hiring and scheduling staff
Assists in selecting, developing, and training supervisory team
Communicates with associates and key external contacts
Assists in the development and implementation of operating budget
Reviews all reports related to waterpark operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience of at least 2 years
Valid Drivers License
Jeff Ellis and Associates ILTP Instructor
CPO or AFO
Supervisory and/or Leadership Experience of at least 3 years
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test
Ability to pass a background check
