Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – Operating Room

Location: Seattle, WA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 4x10 Days – Variable M–F (Start times: 6:30a, 9a, or 11a)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Call: 1 call per 4-week schedule (weeknight or weekend); 30-min response time

Position Overview: Join a high-volume OR team performing 50–65 cases per day across 22 suites (expandable to 26) in a Level 3 Trauma Center. You’ll work alongside supportive, team-oriented physicians and staff across 16 surgical service lines. Travelers often extend.

Case Types Include:

• General: Breast, HPB, Bariatric
• ENT: FESS, septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy, thyroid/parathyroid
• Ortho, GYN, Uro, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, CV/Thoracic, Sports Med, Transplants (Kidney/Pancreas)
• Robotics: DaVinci Xi – Required (used for GYN, Uro, General)

Requirements:

• WA State registration (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year scrubbing experience
• Must have experience with ENT procedures and DaVinci Xi
• Graduation from an accredited surgical tech program
• First-time travelers accepted

• No floating required
• Scrubs provided (Teal)
• Orientation includes 2 days with a preceptor + leadership support
• Call room available for 30-min response
• Note: Travelers must bring headphones for first-week online training
