Key Responsibilities
Provide Underwriter with account knowledge related to hazards and risk management
Evaluate company risk factors and differentiate accounts
Complete risk assessments for complex businesses
Write detailed reports on risk assessments and recommendations
Identify uncontrolled exposures and recommend improvements
Stay current with technical subjects and regulatory environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, or related fields
Seven years of experience in safety, risk control/management, or a related field
Valid driver's license
Ability to attain state-specific certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced level knowledge of the insurance industry
Recognized relevant certifications (such as ASP, CSP, ARM, CFPS)
Technical aptitude and detail oriented
Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
