Job Description
Join UniFirst as a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient functioning of facility equipment. You'll lead maintenance processes, train staff, and enhance operational performance in a supportive work environment that values diversity and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action
Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
Perform basic welding activities for repairs
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Perform and assign preventive maintenance on facility and production assets
Manage and assign all equipment maintenance, including repairs
Oversee maintenance-related regulatory and environmental compliance
Train and develop maintenance partners
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment, including wiring and plumbing
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with hand and power tools
Lockout / Tagout experience
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background
Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel
Maintenance administration experience including planning and budgeting
